Deformations in the Labium Major (Outer Lip) and Labium Minor (Inner Lip) located in the female external genitalia can reach an uncomfortable level. Correction of these deformations with appropriate surgical approaches is called labiaplasty. Inner lips, which are usually congenital and grow, drooping or irregular in adolescence, look aesthetically bad, but can be uncomfortable especially when sitting and urinating. Asymmetrical or larger than normal inner lips can also cause problems between spouses.
