Advanced Medical Technologies

Our hospital has the most advanced high-tech radiological devices and all diagnostic and non-vascular interventional radiological procedures are performed. The radiology department has the technical equipment and experienced doctor staff that can meet all the demands of patients and doctors for diagnosis and treatment.

The radiology department of our hospital provides 24/7 service with a fully equipped 1.5 tesla MR device, multidetector computed tomography, artificial intelligence based ge logic e 10 s doppler USg device, mammography, scopy and direct radiography examinations.

ULTRASONOGRAPHY (US) AND DOPPLER ULTRASONOGRAPHY

All ultrasonographic examinations such as abdominal, pelvic, kidney, thyroid, thorax, breast, hip, eye and cranial ultrasonography are performed. In addition, transrectal US, transvaginal US and intraoperative US are among the services provided. In addition to these examinations, ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration and biopsies, fluid aspirations, and catheter drainage procedures are performed.

Vascular structures and blood flow can be evaluated in detail with color Doppler ultrasound. Upper and lower extremity arterial and venous system color Doppler ultrasound, portal Doppler, carotid and vertebral artery Doppler, orbital and scrotal Doppler, gynecological and obstetric Doppler, renal artery Doppler and graft evaluation are among the examinations. These examinations are carried out by highly experienced doctors in the field. Unconditional patient satisfaction is one of the main principles of the department, and patients who apply for examination can get an appointment on the same day and the waiting time for the appointment is kept as short as possible.

All double contrast and biphasic examinations of the gastrointestinal tract, enterocolysis examination can be performed. Excretory urography, cystography, voiding cystourethrography and retrograde urography are among the genitourinary system examinations that can be performed. All hysterosalphingographies are performed with an obstetrician and the images are interpreted by radiologists. In fluoroscopic examinations, special attention is paid to performing the best quality examination with minimal radiation dose.

MAMOGRAPHY

Mammography is a special examination performed using X-rays in the diagnosis of breast cancer and other benign breast diseases. Mammography services include screening examinations of asymptomatic patients, diagnostic examinations of women with symptomatic breast diseases, stereotaxic preoperative breast marking and consultations.

The technological features of the devices allow optimal magnification and compression techniques with minimum radiation dose. Galactography, ultrasound guided breast marking, fine needle aspiration and biopsies are also successfully performed in the department, which provides accurate and fast diagnostic services for screening and diagnostic mammographic examinations.

Images of all examinations made using these devices are transferred to the PACS (Image Archiving and Communication System) system, evaluated and stored by radiologists. The system's integration with the hospital operating system (HIS) provides the opportunity to reach results quickly from all polyclinics and clinics and to make consultations when necessary.

COMPUTERIZED TOMOGRAPHY (CT)

CT can create a detailed cross-sectional view of any part of the body and can be used in the diagnosis of many diseases, from soft tissue diseases to fractures. It is frequently used in cases where other imaging methods such as direct radiography and ultrasonography cannot clarify. Spiral or sequential scanning of any part of the body such as brain, vertebrae, thorax, abdomen, bone and pelvic structures can be performed. In addition, CT-guided biopsy and interventional procedures are also performed to reduce the need for surgery and for tissue diagnosis of lesions.

MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING (MR)

All neurological examinations (brain, neck and vertebral column), vascular angiography (peripheral, intracranial, carotid and aorta), abdomen, thorax and cardiac examinations, breast MRI, musculoskeletal examinations, MR cholangiopancreaticography (MRCP), fetal MRI and functional MRI examinations can be performed. Functional MRI techniques include blood oxygen level dependent imaging (BOLD), diffusion and perfusion MRI, MR spectroscopy and cerebrospinal fluid flow analysis. In cases where mammography and ultrasound cannot make a definitive diagnosis, breast MRI can be performed for the diagnosis of breast cancer. MRCP examinations can display the biliary and pancreatic ducts noninvasively and are rapidly replacing diagnostic ERCP examinations. Radiological examinations that require the use of anesthesia for patients of all ages in the department can be performed under the supervision of a specialist anesthesiologist.

Our radiology department adds value to our region with "varicose veins clinic", "prenatal diagnosis unit - second level detailed USG", advanced neuroradiology applications", cardiac MR imaging ", uroradiology clinic. It serves with the "MULTIPARAMETRIC PROSTATE MR AND FUSION BIOPSY" application, which can only be done in our hospital in our region.
